| First and foremorst thank you for taking the time to look into this project. I am planning on leaving August 2012. This project is called God in Ghana and features the Ghana Christian Mission. They're an organization who aims to start churches, provide medical outreach, community developement and Christian education in the communities in need around the country of Ghana. My goal is to give them a new and updated documentary that is artisitc and thought provoking to use in their promotion around the world. When I called Enoch (the organization founder) to talk to him about their interest in my documentary, he was almost lost for words. He told me he had been praying for someone to help them create a new video for the pomotion of their mission. Because Ghana Christian Mission is a non-profit organization, they do not have a budget to pay a videographer to create a new video and I truly believe that God brought me to Enoch. I want to cover all of the things they are doing in the communities around Ghana. I want to see the difference they are making and show how it is affecting those whom they are reaching. Through photography and videography, I plan on putting together a very artistic and moving video that makes people want to look into this amazing organization. I want to get Enoch's story and bring to light the reason for this mission. Giving up your life to give back to others is not easy, its not always fun and can be extremely hard to cope with. I want to dig deep into everyone whose involved and really grasp the difficulties the people are facing. We take things such as medical care, school and community for granted and most of us, including myself, are ignorant to the way people in third world countries really live. God has blessed me with so much, I am honored to be apart of such an amazing cause . Although I am not wanting to get paid for this trip, it is going to cost money: getting the right gear, taking off of work, plane tickets, and travel expenses.
